Pidgin 2.10.0

*JV*
Now no need to bother running multiple IM clients in the same time. Just use Pidgin, and you can communicate with your friends using any IM network.

Mom you are using AOL Instant Messenger. Your partner prefer MSN. In the office you use Yahoo. What should you do? You can operate the entire chat client stretcher in one shot, or you could use Gaim, now renamed Pidgin.

Such as Fire and Trillian IM client or third-party the other, open-source messaging application lets you access a number of these IM networks from a window, including Google Talk and MySpaceIM as well as Jabber and Gadu-Gadu. Yahoo Messenger and of course also very famous.

Pidgin's biggest change is the redesigned interface. Buddy list can be viewed in Basic or Advanced mode, and the most important features, including Plug-in List, have been divided panel of the Preferences window into their own.

IM feature in our opinion there is no shortfall. Such as the smiley example, you can find millions of emoticons on the developer site, file transfers, and multiperson chat. Pidgin also provides a very unique feature. A number of popular features are Buddy Pounce, which provides the ability to notify you, send a message, play a sound, or operate a program when a specific buddy lost, sign online, or returns from idle. There are also features text replacement, a buddy ticker, and also notification messages that have been developed.

Pidgin, previously known as Gaim, is a multi-protocol instant messaging client for BSD and Windows. This instant messaging client compatible with AIM (Oscar and TOC protocols), ICQ, MSN Messenger, Yahoo, IRC, Jabber, Gadu-Gadu, and Zephyr networks. Pidgin users can log into several accounts in a number of IM networks. This means that you can chat with your friends on AOL Instant Messenger, talking to your friends on Yahoo Messenger, and keep stay tune on an IRC channel all at the same time.
