3DMark Vantage 1.1.0

3DMark Vantage is a PC gaming performance benchmark from Futuremark, newly designed for Windows Vista and Direct10. Benchmark experiments include two graphs, two CPU experiments, some experimental features, and support for new hardware. 3DMark Vantage is based on a new engine, developed specifically to take advantage of Direct10, the new graphics API from Microsoft.

Which should be noticed is 3DMark Vantage requires Windows Vista and Direct10 Compliant graphics card, and can not work on another operating system or with sub-DX10 graphics cards.

3DMark Vantage is the overall measurement of your systems 3D gaming capabilities, based on the 3D graphics processor and experiment. By comparing your score with that already collected by the millions and millions of other gamers, you can see how your gaming performance, make it easier to choose the most effective upgrades or finding ways to optimize your system.

A new feature in 3DMark Vantage is the Preset option. The combination of option settings, like resolution, anti-aliasing and texture quality, represent different, more advanced levels of visual quality.

When operating the 3DMark Vantage using a preset that has been selected, the benchmark produces an official for the preset value. Rather than a set of 3DMark before, there are four Presets available for Entry, Performance, High and Extreme visual quality.
